This luxurious skirt is made from Kurume Kasuri, a traditional craft from the Chikugo region of Fukuoka Prefecture.

The pattern is a cloisonne pattern. The cloisonne pattern is considered to be a very auspicious pattern. The pattern is made up of circles of the same size, one quarter of each, and is called "cloisonne." This circle (ring) is a classic pattern with a very auspicious meaning, such as the importance of the circle between people and the meaning of "happiness," "harmony," and "marriage," since this pattern extends endlessly.
