This is a wonderful 1940s era silk crepe dress featuring a colourful paisley pattern in tones of green, orange, red, blue, yellow and white with black outlining. The dress has padded shoulders and a V neckline with a narrow shawl type collar and short raglan type sleeves that are tucked at the end to fit tight to the upper arm. It has a defined waist, belt loops and a matching rope type belt. The skirt is cut to fall in wide pleats or drapes. The dress does up the side with a fine tooth metal zipper.

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this should fit a medium size, please note the following measurements for fit, taking into account the style of the dress and that it is short waisted:
Shoulders: 17” across the pads, approximated
Sleeves: 14 1/2” from the neck opening
Bodice length from top to waist: 14”, measured flat it is a bit shortwaisted.
Bust: 36” around, taken at the underarms
Waist: 28” around
Hips: Full, meant to fall loosely
Length: 40” long, measured flat
Condition: It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors - this dress looks to have seen little use and was well stored over the years.
